StencilVector is software that takes a photo, a drawing or a logo and turns it into a vector stencil: a clean file, with the little bridges that keep every piece in place, ready for a laser cutter or a plotter. Everything you need to write or talk about it is on this page.
Always in the making: something new lands almost every week.
The full demo video is on its way. Meanwhile, one of our stencils being laser-cut, in ten seconds.
From any image
Upload a photo, a sketch or a logo. Moments later you have a stencil, already designed to be cut.
It places the bridges
The parts that would fall out, like the middle of an «O», stay attached: bridges go where they are needed, so the stencil holds together.
Ready for your machine
Download the file as SVG or PNG and send it to your laser or plotter, with nothing to redraw.
Rounded down, counted on October 7, 2026, without our own tests.
StencilVector is made by Cuttalo SRL, a laser-cutting workshop in Grottaglie, in the south of Italy. It was born there, among people who cut stencils every day, to turn any image into a file a machine can cut straight away.
It is for makers, small shops, artists and anyone with a spray can and an idea. It is a project born in our workshop three years ago that has finally found its shape, and it now speaks eight languages.
It keeps changing, on purpose. We would rather show it working than explain how it works.
